A tortoise is back with its owners after escaping its Galveston County home this week. On Wednesday, the Galveston County Animal Resource Center shared photos of the massive, shelled reptile on social media seeking information about its owners. "This tortoise was strolling around Texas City looking for an adventure," the shelter wrote. "If you recognize her or know who she belongs to please contact the shelter." Anyone trying to pick up the tortoise was required to provide proof of ownership, like photos and documents.
