A Seguin man has been sentenced to 7 years in prison for the 2022 fatal hit-and-run of a Galveston physician near the seawall, according to court records. Logan Llewellyn, 22, pleaded guilty to one count of accident involving death and was sentenced as part of a plea agreement, according to Galveston County court records. Llewellyn had been accused of striking Dr. Nancy Hughes, 67, on her bicycle, killing her before 7 a.m. March 18, 2022, near East Beach Drive. He did not stop to help Hughes after she had been hit.
