Carnival Cruise Line, the flagship brand of Miami-based Carnival Corp. (NYSE: CCL), is doubling down on its Galveston presence. From fall 2024 to spring 2025, Carnival Miracle will homeport in Galveston. That will bring the company to four ships in the Texas port. The ship will reposition from San Francisco on Oct. 1, 2024, operating a Carnival Journeys voyage through the Panama Canal. It will visit Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; Puntarenas, Costa Rica; and Cartagena, Colombia. Starting Oct. 16, 2024, Carnival Miracle will sail 19 cruises from the Port of Galveston, offering nine-, 10-, 11- and 12-day itineraries.
